Drama
I have studied Drama & Theatre up to degree level at university, with a specific focus on theory, stage design, modern acting techniques and theatre practitioners. I have also directed several plays, including one with a cast of 60, and have some experience in film studies.
My particular areas of knowledge lie in:
Major theatre practioners, including Stanislavski, Brecht, Artaud, Boal
Plays from Shakespeare onwards, with particular experience of Rattigan, Osborne, Carol Churchill, Ibsen, Chekov, Pinter, Albee, Tenesse Williams
Feminist theatre, theatre of the absurd, the Master builders, farce, theatre of 20's-50's, and contemporary theatre and film.
I also have excellent experience of directing and am available to help anyone rehearse or develop their practical work, acting or stage design.
I am available to tutor up to degree level, and am able to travel within London or tutor at my own home for which there would a reduction in the hourly tutoring cost. I am also set up to tutor online, a cost effective option for any student with a reliable internet connection.
